There is nothing sexier than a woman in tights. History and fashion have shown us this again and again. Queen Elizabeth’s love for silk stocking began in the 1560s with her first pair of “silk ladies.” In the 1920s, women could not be seen in public without a pair of seamed hose. For the women who could not afford them, it was sometimes better to draw a seam on their legs with an eyebrow pencil than be seen with nothing!
